It is August 20, 2023... at 9:05 am. It is very hot outside this morning here in southern Texas. Right now I am staying very cool... inside of the house. This morning I already rode my bike, did yoga, and lifted weights in front of the house... outside. This morning I already fed the puppies. They already went back to sleep. The chores are already finished. The refrigerator and pantry is stocked. The music is on. The house is peaceful.

Last night the New England Patriots defeated the Green Bay Packers 21-17... in NFL preseason football action. The game ended prematurely with 10 minutes and 29 seconds left in the fourth quarter... due to a serious injury sustained by Patriots rookie cornerback Isaiah Bolden.
I did not see the play.
I do not watch football anymore.
