I warmed up on the stationary bike.

I lifted weights.

...

I got up a lot of shots

I played 3 on 3.

I got up more shots.

I stretched.

...

I relaxed in the hot tub.

I took a shower.

I got dressed.

Gym workout complete.

...

I took an Uber to the gym.

I am glad I walked to Wawa.

The weather in Allentown is nice.

Life is good.

1/2/25

It is Thursday, January 2, 2025... at 9:16 am. Last night in professional sports action... I am not sure what happened. I fell asleep at around 7 pm.

Let me check the internet... and provide the result... of a current event.

...

Last night in college football playoff action... the number eight ranked Ohio State Buckeyes... upset the number 1 ranked Oregon Ducks... 41-21... in the Rose Bowl... presented by Prudential.

Eh... ok.

...

I feel like because I am getting older... and because I have experienced so much during my time in this world... I am becoming increasingly disinterested and disconnected... to what used to... and what is still supposed to... stimulate me.

I also feel like because I am getting older... and because I have experienced so much during my time in this world... I am becoming increasingly interested and connected... to what will... and what was always supposed to... stimulate me.

...

Even though I did not watch anything on TV last night... I did get very good rest last night.

Even though I did not check the result of any professional sports action before this post this morning... I did exercise myself this morning.

...

It is now the year 2025.

At the beginning of every year... people reflect on their life and their past... their good days and their bad days... and vow to make changes... to resolve the issues that they had... on their bad days.

That process is called... a New Years resolution.

...

At the beginning of this year... I reflected on my life and my past... my good days and my bad days... and thought about changes that I needed to make... to resolve the issues that I had... on my bad days.

This morning... I looked at the first post... on this blog.

In 2015... I had a lot of bad days.

This morning... I looked at myself.

Today is a good day.

...

In 2015... I vowed to make changes... to resolve the issues that I had... on my bad days.

I did not make every change that I needed to make in one moment. The changes that I made were a collection of moments... that took a collection of years... to go from acts, to habits, to patterns.

...

This post was intended to be a reflection... to see if my changes... went from acts to habits to patterns.

This post is also as a test... to see if I can still write.

...

In 2025... my results have proven... that I have changed... my acts that became habits that became patterns... have given me positive results.

In 2025... I get no chemotherapy or radiation... I take no medicine.... I do not throw up on myself... I see no medical professionals... and I am in the best shape that I have ever been in.

I feel like after this post... in 2025... I have also proven... that I can still write.

...

It is now 10:37 am. I am an author. I live in a hotel. I am about to go drink coffee and do yoga by the pool. I have never been more prepared for the future than I am right now.

Life is good.

Happy New Year.

12/24/24

The stationary bicycle that I was riding on this day only had 2 digit time counter.

The completed time display shows 36 minutes and 2 seconds.

The final time duration of this ride was actually 136 minutes and 2 seconds (2 hours, 16 minutes, 2 seconds).

The 35 miles on the distance display is correct.

11/22/24

It is November 22, 2024... at 9:42 am. Last night in NBA action... the San Antonio Spurs beat the Utah Jazz 126-118. This morning I went for a walk, stretched, and did dribble exercises.

Cool.

...

For the past few months... I have not done as much in the digital world as I have in my past... in an attempt to reimerse myself back into the physical world. It has been almost five months since I completed my sixth book... A collection of my thoughts. Writing that book was not an easy task for me. Writing that book literally took everything emotionally out of me. Writing that book made me emotionally, physically, and digitally unbalanced. This post marks a moment where I feel that I am healthy enough again emotionally and physically... to delicately step back into the digital world... to do a little work... for a little while.

This blog update is the work.

...

At my technology screen consumption peak... I did a lot of TV watching, computer work, and smartphone browsing. At my technology screen consumption peak... my head would hurt, my eyes would be tired, and my body would be drained.

I eventually realized that looking at high definition screens in the digital world all day was not that good for my health.

I needed non-digital balance.

...

Not living in the digital world as much as I did when I was writing my book... and in my past... has had a positive effect on my physical health.

I tell myself every day... "Do as much as you can while NOT looking at a screen."

...

Everyone knows that I exercise a lot. I have done that for my whole physical life. Playing in the digital world never came before playing in the real world for me.

When I tell myself to do as much as I can while not looking at a screen though... I am not talking about just exercising. I am not talking about just doing chores. I am also talking about having fun.

...

Watching Mesothelioma commercials are chores for me. All computer work is a chore for me. Scrolling through Facebook is a chore... sometimes... for me.

Going for a walk... seeing new things... and being something to see in the physical world... is fun for me. Not looking at a computer screen while doing work... is fun for me. Reading in person facial expressions... and not digital Facebook expressions... is fun for me.

...

When did watching, working on, and scrolling on digital screens... become more fun... than actually doing anything else... in the physical world?

Even writing this post on my bright and shiny smartphone screen is giving me a headache.

...

That is all that I have for now.

I just wanted to say that too much screen time is unhealthy.

I am still healthy.

I am now going to do... anything... other than look at a screen.

...

Peace.
